The Gordon Arms - Yarrow
Welcome to The Gordon Arms, an old coaching Inn nestling in the Yarrow Valley in the Scottish Borders. It was a favourite haunt of James Hogg, Sir Walter Scott and even Robert Burns was said to have stopped here. Now it is well known for its Traditional Music & Real Ale, and a warm welcome to walkers, cyclists and all other visitors to the area.

****UPDATE 09.11.20****

****We are re-opening on Friday 6th November at 12 noon!!****

We know that these are tough times we are all facing and new guidelines that we must all follow to help maintain the low Covid-19 cases in our area and keep everyone safe.

Tables can be booked inside for food from 12 noon to 8pm with last orders being taken at 6.45pm. You can then have an enjoyable and relaxing meal – with a drink – before the premises must be vacated at 8pm.

Remember we can only seat a max of 6 people at a table from a max of 2 households. As we are sure you are all aware, alcohol can only be served inside when accompanied with a substantial meal. We are still able to serve alcohol outside without food.

As before, masks MUST be worn at all times when not seated at your table. We will take your temperature on arrival and details for track & trace before taking you to your table. We will be providing table service only. We thank you all for your continued support and look forward to welcoming you once again to The Gordon Arms.
